School Counselor for VCA and University

Mrs. Patterson graduated from Ben Davis High School in 2016. She received a Bachelor’s in Liberal Arts with a minor Sociology in 2020. She then received a Master’s degree in Counseling & Counselor Education from IUPUI in 2023. Shortly after earning her Bachelor’s degree, she began working at Ben Davis High School. Starting out she was a Special Education Paraprofessional and later became a Level Up Specialist. While in these positions she was able to assist students with their academic, social, and emotional needs.

Currently, Ms. Patterson serves as a sponsor for Diamond CounSEL, a school organization that encourages young ladies to achieve high academic standards, and develop moral and social values through mentorship and community service.
